About The Event
On September 22 and 23 of September 2017, the Slovak Chamber of English Teachers (SKA) held its 3rd annual international ELT conference at Constantine the Philosopher University (UKF) in Nitra, Slovakia.
The theme – Lifelines & Life Skills: ELT tools for the real world – dealt with the notion of the challenges both we and our students face in these current troubled times. Our plenaries were Maggie Kubanyiova (Leeds University), Steve Lever (Express Publishing), Marjorie Rosenberg (then-President of IATEFL), and Margit Szesztay (current President of IATEFL).
Thank you to our primary partner, Express Publishing, and the amazing team at the Department of Language Pedagogy and Intercultural Studies at UKF. They truly are a lifeline for SKA.
