About us
The Slovak Chamber of English Language Teachers is an independent, volunteer, non-profit professional association for teachers of English as a foreign language and other ELT professionals working in Slovakia. Our members include teachers, teacher trainers, university students and instructors, directors of study, school owners, publishers’ reps, writers, editors, researchers and consultants. Anybody who is involved in English teaching in Slovakia can join SCELT.

We aim to facilitate access to professional, quality ELT conferences, workshops, seminars and events for and by our members

We strive to provide a forum for members to network, share and exchange ideas with colleagues from Slovakia and abroad

We provide a voice for teachers and their students to aim for better educational policies in Slovakia.
