SCELT forum 2025 has come to a close, and the whole SCELT team is grateful for the time we all spent together in Stará Lesná :)
Over the weekend, we exchanged ideas, reconnected with colleagues we hadn´t seen in a long time, met a lot of new people, got to know famous speakers, experienced for the first time being a speaker, and, considering the topic of the conference, took a fresh look at what it means to Envision Beyond in our classrooms and communities.
This year’s programme (you can find a link below) brought a mix of practical sessions, conversations over a coffee, and space to reflect on how we teach, why we teach, and what might come next. The conference's opening speech, delivered by our Chair, Janka, set a heartfelt, honest, and powerful tone. It gave us all something to think about.
We’re thankful for every speaker, volunteer, and participant who helped make the event what it was.
A special thank you goes to those who joined the Young Learners section, which ran this year as a trial. Your interest and input helped shape something we hope to keep developing.
If you attended the forum and haven’t done so yet, we’d really appreciate it if you could take a moment to fill in our feedback form. We want to do better, and your opinions matter. As full-time teachers, we do our best but are aware that things can improve
.
Thank you for being part of it all. We’ll see you next year.
Just a reminder of what we focused on in Stará Lesná:
